We had a fun party this year to ring in the new year. Our best friends and their families joined us at our house for food, fun, fireworks, games, and a sleepover (for the kids that is). The kids all play really well together and after they went to bed, the adults had a great time playing games and hanging out.

Ready for the firework show! Which didn't end up well when the first thing we did exploded with a bang. We asked the guy for the fireworks that didn't make noise. We had some last year that were great. Well, the lame guy gave us very loud ones! So it ended up making half the kids cry. Ooops!
So we moved on to the quiet sparklers.

I think she would have done sparklers all night! She was like a moth to light. As soon as you lit one up she was begging to hold it! Absolutely no fear!
Unlike this one who crouched behind the pole or somebody's leg most of the night.

Great pictures! I love that Finn is in two of the adult pictures, begging for our sparklers. Can't wait to do this again!
