After our last day at Disney, we got up the next morning and headed to downtown LA. We stayed at the JW Marriott which is next door to the Staples Center and Nokia Theatre. We spent three more days in LA before flying back home to Austin. We got to enjoy one more day with Jeff in San Marcos before heading back to San Angelo. This truly was one of the best vacations ever. We did not want to come home! These last pics will be a random order of the various things we did while in LA. We didn't take as many pictures here, so that's why they don't really flow. :)
Playing at the playground at our Anaheim hotel before heading to LA.
Family Shot!

I'm sure this is something to do with transformers.

Just chilling and enjoying 70 something degrees.

Our view of downtown LA from our hotel.

My honey and me!
Here is our hotel.

Swimming!

Now this is lounging in style!

Meeting "Katie" (her American Girl Doll) for the first time. My mom has wanted to get her one of those for the longest time, and finally couldn't refrain any longer!
Hanging out in front of our hotel on a nice cool evening.

Racing!

This is how close the Nokia Theatre was to our hotel. We shared a sidewalk.

Waiting for our first subway.
My mom has ridden them in NY, so she knew the drill!

The guy next to us was listening to Katie Perry and Rhianna. Haha!

We met my good friend from High School, Melissa, in Hollywood. It was so great to see her and visit.

Kade was beside himself when he saw Bumblebee. For those that don't know, we are pretty obsessed with transformers right now!
We also saw Iron Man walking down the walk of fame.

Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper.
Ron, Harry, and Hermione's foot, hand, and wand prints.

R2D2, C3Po, and Darth Vader's prints.
The Hollywood Sign!
A little perspective on how far away it is from where we were.

If you look closely you can see the Hollywood sign behind us.

Melissa kindly drove us around a bit to see some cool things. Here is LA Ink.

Beverly Hills area.

Rodeo (Ro-Day-Oh) Drive.

This was the hotel in the movie, Pretty Woman.

So this is Peter Reckell (Bo Brady) from Days of Our Lives. We actually spoke to him. He was really nice! :) He had brought his daughter to this kid restaurant we went to in Beverly Hills.

This restaurant had the coolest playing area.

Worn out. Sleeping with Katie.

These kiddos slept hard at night, exhausted from our jam-packed days.

Sad to leave LA. Watching them load our luggage on the plane.

Such a big girl.

Katie's first plane ride!
