Vacation Part 2 - Disney Day 2 & 3

Ok, so life has been super busy with the start of school, soccer, gymnastics, and church so I haven't been good to keep up. I promise all the posts from the start of the year will be coming soon. But for now, another vacation post! :)

We started Day 2 off with a character breakfast! What fun!!! The buffet was incredible. I think we could have found anything we could possibly have wanted, all in one place. Yum!!

The Bacon was a hit!

In a character breakfast, you just sit at your table and the characters simply come up to you to "visit" for a minute. They can sign autograph books and take pictures all without you having to wait in line. Here is Chip. MK wouldn't get close to any of the masked ones still.

Puto!

Sleeping Beauty! MK's first princess! She was so excited to see her. She couldn't stop smiling.

Dale!

Prince Aladdin.

After breakfast we went to the princess faire and lucked out to see a bunch of MK's favorites! It was a quick wait in line and then you go through and see whoever they have on the schedule. I loved how the princesses would take their time and actually visit with the kids. I never felt rushed or pushed along. They would have long conversations, sign the kids books, and take pictures. It was nice! Here is Belle! (Kade was pretty impressed with them as well. He swore he didn't care, but he got sweet when he was around them.)

Ariel.

MK's look here is just priceless to me. This was one of her favorite parts, and oddly enough it almost made me tear up to watch her having such a great time and enjoying it so much. She was so excited to meet these girls!

These were "nobodys" but MK wanted her picture with them anyway.

Cinderella!

Snow White. MK was excited to show her the Snow White bow she was wearing and Snow White loved it!

Somebody's Throne.

Trying to pull the sword from the stone.

Riding on the horse-drawn trolley.

Horse-drawn fire truck.

This guy was wandering around Tomorrow Land. Kade was so excited to see him!

Thunder Mountain in the background. Waiting on the Monorail.

First Ride on the monorail.

Meeting Princess Jasmine and Aladdin (again). They spent the longest talking with the kids and it felt like forever. It was awesome!

Again, MK's face says it all!

Little Mermaid Ride.

Pictures just don't do these rides justice.

Wearing our glasses for the Toy Story 3D ride. It was so cool!

That night we ate dinner at the Rainforest cafe. The kids love that place.

And they got special drinks with their meal.

Afterwards we did some shopping at Downtown Disney and they had a Leggo store with awesome creations.

Waiting on the fireworks.

MK said they were too loud!

They were awesome though. Disney just does fireworks on an incredible level!

The Alice and Wonderland Ride

The Tea Cups. My Dad and I refuse to do the spinning around motion. We have learned it does not suit us well. Bryan doesn't mind though.

This spot is the very center of Disneyland.

This was amazing....We saw Alice walking through the park, and we ran to see if we could get her picture. They were walking to their picture spot, so instead of ignoring MK or blowing us off, she took MK's hand and walked with her. It was one of those magical moments and MK felt so special. I loved it!

Alice and the Mad Hatter

Iridessa was seriously interested in Kaden's transformer shirt.

The fairies were just as great as the princesses.

A sweet shot with brother in Pixie Hollow.

Meeting Tinker Bell and Fawn. They were funny.

Tinkerbell had a little attitude!

Funny Faces!

MK's first rollercoaster in Toon Town. It was a lot of fun!

Meeting Rapunzel.

MK went back for some rest time at the hotel, and we stayed with Kaden to do a few "big boy" things. We rode the Star Wars ride, and saw the star wars jedi training. It was super cool. Kaden was almost picked to go up on stage, but he lost his nerve at the last minute!

Some of the Jedi's.

Those in training.

Darth Vader!

Darth Mal!

The kids actually got to fight the bad guys. It was super cool!

King Triton's Carousel.

In a Toy Box!

My silly MK! That's a pretty good fish face.

Here are a few more videos.
Little Mermaid Ride

The kids got to spend their money on a fight glow n the dark toy!
