Finishing Our Weekend

We sure did have a busy and fun weekend. To finish things out on Sunday, we went to the Children's Fair at Unidad Park that afternoon. The event raised funds for different non-profit organizations in the area. It was fun, but hot and crowded. The big hit, of course, was the train ride. Both of the kids loved that! We did a few other booths and enjoyed looking around before calling it good.

After the Fair, we decided to cool off with our first Snow Cones of the season. We picked some up, headed home, stripped the kids down, and went out into the back yard to enjoy them. It was perfect! Our backyard is very nicely shaded, so we definitely cooled off, especially with the breeze. After we finished our treats, Bryan brought a blanket out and we laid in the shade talking and resting while the kids played! It was one of those perfect kind of lazy afternoons. We definitely needed the rest after all the busyness!
