Take me out to the ball game!

Last night we went to the Golden League Baseball All-star game here at Colt's stadium. We had so much fun and I am glad to say that the kids did great. Kade was very obedient and he had a blast watching the mascots walk around. We were on the first row which was perfect for a restless toddler. There was space for him to walk around and he could stand up on the fence and watch the action. Our team scored 5 homeruns and even broke two bats. It was very exciting! He also loved the pire-purks, or fireworks as we call them. He kept asking about them the whole game, and was thrilled when the lights went out at the end and the show started! Kade was even the recipient of a real baseball from one of the players. The guy walked over to the fence and handed it to him and some of the players even signed it at the end of the game. Overall, everything was almost perfect. It was one of those nights when you climb into the car to head home, you just feel so good and realize, "Wow, we just had a great night!"
